Craig Whyte, C.A., C.I.A. Director of Assurance Craig Whyte, C.A., C.I.A. Director of Assurance Craig obtained his Bachelor of Business degree from Simon Fraser University in 1989 and obtained his chartered accountant designation in 1993. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor and previously spent 14 years with a national accounting firm before joining Berris Mangan. Craig has specialized in external and internal audits for financial institutions, insurance companies, and owner-managed businesses. He also provides International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting advisory services to the firm’s publicly accountable clients, and provides quality control for the Berris Mangan’s assurance practice. Craig has taught several IFRS courses for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of B.C. including its recent offerings of: IFRS – Financial institutions; IFRS – Intangibles Assets and Impairments; and IFRS – Provisions and Contingencies. Craig is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of B.C. He is a past treasurer of the Massey Theatre Society and the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce.
