Berris Mangan, Chartered Accountants is a leading Vancouver accounting and consulting firm that is recruiting a Chartered Accountant to fill a Senior Accountant position.

Role of Senior Accountant:

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience in public practice preferably for small and mid sized companies.  Reporting to the Partner, you will be working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals. This position also offers exposure to a wide variety of industries. 

Requirements:

• CA designation or equivalent or have successfully passed the UFE or equivalent.
• Dedicated and strong team player
• Work under tight deadlines, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Strong technical and supervisory skills

Responsibilities:

• Audit and Review of financial statements.
• Preparation of review and notice to reader financial statements and related working paper files using case ware and case view.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures is met.
• Leadership of field engagement teams.
• Financial and systems analysis.
• Developing mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing clients.
• Preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns.
