Berris Mangan, Chartered Accountants is a leading Vancouver accounting and consulting firm that is recruiting Chartered Accountants to fill both Junior and Senior Assurance Management positions.

Role of Assurance Manager:

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience in the completion of audits for small and mid sized companies, including public companies.  Reporting to the Assurance Partner, you will be working collaboratively with a dedicated team of audit professionals. This position also offers exposure to a wide variety of industries. 

Requirements:

• CA designation or equivalent or have successfully passed the UFE or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS rules
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Strong supervisory and management skills

Responsibilities:

• Planning assurance assignments including budget and resource needs
• Assisting in the development, documentation and maintenance of quality assurance standards
• Managing engagements including quality and budget considerations
• Supervising staff to ensure they understand their responsibilities and the needs of the client
• Assisting staff in learning through instruction in the field and in internal seminars
• Ensuring that high quality working papers and files are prepared
• Developing mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing clients
• Assisting with non-assurance engagements
