Each new student is asked to complete a practice file to learn our file preparation process. The first four months at Berris Mangan will be a period of adjustment and learning. You will work closely with your mentor during this period. You will learn about firm procedures, software and systems. This involves taking several courses.
The next 18-30 month period will consist of learning professional file preparation and business in general while meeting educational requirements. You may be in a university co-op program or enrolled in the first three years of the CA program. We will provide you with ongoing feedback on the development of your professional abilities.
You will be expected to meet chargeable hour goals or file preparation fee recovery rates. During this period, you will work very closely with your mentor.
